At Oxley, we believe Art and Design gives every child the opportunity to explore their creativity, express their ideas and grow in confidence. Through a broad and exciting range of experiences, children develop skills in drawing, painting, making, designing and discussing art. By the time they leave Oxley, we hope every child will have discovered an area of the visual arts that inspires and excites them.

Through AccessArt, children build their skills and experiment with a variety of materials, techniques and creative approaches. They learn about artists and designers from different times, cultures and backgrounds, encouraging them to think deeply, share their opinions and reflect on their own work. Most importantly, we want art at Oxley to be enjoyable, inclusive and memorable for every child.
